Woah! It's been a long time since I wrote. Let me kick it off by saying sorry for being a downer, in the writing department. I'm going to make it up to you, this month...

In case you hadn't heard, I'm taking off for Australia tonight, around midnight-ish. I'll be gone for an entire month! During my stay, I'll spend some time in Sydney, then go on a little road trip (North? North-West?) then I'm running a race called The Six Foot Track, which I have written about previously. Then I'm going away on another little roadtrip, hopefully down South West, to the Great Ocean Road (and beyond!)

So I've got a pretty great vacation planned. His bags are packed. He's got his ticket. Just send him on his way!

All together this little adventure will be exactly a month... I've got someone to take care of my place for me while I'm away, my work-mates are already hard at work doing my job for me... what can I say? Life is good.

The last few months have been good too. Lots of running, hanging out, movies, Krav'ing the planet. I just saw Shutter Island last night with Jen, that movie was very awesome. I think you would enjoy it. Speaking of awesome movies, here's a taste of Australia for you:

I'll try to be more diligent with the note taking / caption doing this time. I never even got around to uploading all of my updates / journal entries from our last trip. Bad Mitch. Bad. This time though I'll have the system down pat. Which reminds me, I need to buy a book to write in...

Speaking of writing, here's a pretty sweet Spelling Bee video. Kid's reaction is hilarious.

Anyway, I'm gonna leave the house and go for one last walk through Olympic excitement before it's time to leave the Country. Wish me luck. I'm pretty sure I have a valid passport and visa this time... I should make it intact. Unless we crash in the ocean and I end up on a deserted tropical island, and then hell yeah, vacation extended.
