Hi,

I’m not really sure what to write, so I'll just start with whatever I guess.

Well, fall is here, right?

I think this has been the shortest year ever. I'm sure that has to do with it also probably being the busiest year of my life. I had a lot to do this year, so it went by pretty fast. If the rest of the years of my life go by this quickly, I’ll be dead soon. I guess the fact that I’m not even halfway to the normal age limit should make me feel good. But really, I’m past halfway, because my perception of time is going faster. Then again, I guess it may slow down again. Just because I’m busy now doesn’t mean I’ll always be busy.

Maybe at some point I’ll have as little to do as a 5 year old kid. Maybe sometime again my fun for the day will be to play in the woods in the spring, trying to avoid getting a huge soaker. Maybe I’ll be able to build plywood jumps for my bike, and make worms crawl across popsicle stick bridges over plastic pails filled with water from the hose. That would be fun again I think.

It seems crazy that a long time ago I was biking down the street singing “we built this city on rock and roll!” at the top of my lungs, with a gang of friends. I don’t even remember any of them. And we would have to save money just to buy those Styrofoam airplanes and those tubes of sugar from the convenience store.

But those days are long gone I guess. Now I'm nothing but a fat, balding, middle aged slob. I'm just kidding I guess. I work from home doing computer consulting, mainly security consulting. At home I like to spend my time playing games. I have an excellent World of Warcraft character. I don't spend too much money these days. I spend most of it on computer hardware. I have a 62 inch TV, and my DVD collection is really good I guess. That's pretty awesome, right? Oh and I have a cat. It's name is Legolas. I named him after the character from the Lord of The Rings obviously. My World of Warcraft character is an elf too. I think elves are the most interesting race.

I don't really have too many real-life friends I guess but I have some friends online that are pretty awesome. I'm in a club that designs and builds real-life catapults and trebuchets. I don't build them because I don't have my driver's license and we meet in Burke and I live in Middleton, but they showed me pictures of the ones we designed and they are really good. You'd like them.

I have a brother but we don't talk too much any more. He's a personal trainer. He moved to Toronto, Canada so he could get better clients, in 1998, and I haven't really heard from him since then. I mean, he's pretty cool but he's so annoying because he always says I'm too fat, so I don't mind that much that he doesn't get in touch with me.

I'm pretty fat I guess, but I watch what I eat and I'm gonna get in shape. I stopped drinking Coke and switched to Seven Up and Diet Coke although Diet Coke tastes awful, but it has less calories. I read a ton about training on the internet and joined a weight lifting forum to get tips and stuff but the programs are pretty hard so I'll start them later once I get in better shape. I also stopped eating so many chips, like Doritos, and now I just mostly eat Beef Jerky because it's nearly fat free and just loaded with protein, which my body will need for when I start to work out more. I need to learn more about nutrition though I guess. It's hard when I’m working and playing games so much, right?
