Share on Facebook 2008-12-18: I'm still alive.

Now the blow's been softened since we are our own damned coffins.

You were laying on the carpet like you're satin in a coffin. You said "Do you believe what you're sayin'?" "Yeah right now, but not that often."

There are a few things in life, dear reader, that make me have enjoyment more than good lyrics and singing. Despite my lovely ex-girlfriend's assessment that I enjoy Tool because they play half-notes, (she is right, no doubt,) it is Tool vocalistic stylings that really filly my giblets.

And so some of the songs that you might enjoy if you had the same tastes as me include:

Vicarious - Tool
You Lied - Tool
Vaccination Scar - The Hip
Cowboy Dan - Modest Mouse

And I could go on, but honestly those songs rock the uniberse. And the uniberse, my friends, needs some rocking these days.

BUT, the other day, while playing Rockband 2 with my bandmates Ed and Lilyann, I heard an amazingly awesome song. It is called "Still Alive", and is a song from the soundtrack to the video game "Portal". In fact, it is sung by the antagonist character in the game, in the ending credits. I had to read a lot of incredibly pointless video game information on Wikipedia in order to learn this. Don't do the same.

But here is the song, anyway. Two million viewers can't be wrong. And make sure the read the lyrics, they are amazing.

Fuck, you know when you go and do something retarded like start surfing the net using the same browser window you're writing your website update in and then you realize it like 10 sites later and have to go back, praying Google Chrome did the right thing and recorded your work somehow, like a miracle of God, because your own home-grown shitty website editor certainly didn't auto-save, hell it barely can save? You know when you do that? It sucks. That's what.

Anyway, I found something worth looking at, and had the presence of mind to copy that shiznat before I started surfing back back back to the lost writings of The Great White Hope. It was this: Get your war on: The Watch List. Enjoy it. "I'm a straight up terrorist. I'm a madman, with a scraggledy-ass beard..."

Ok, that's all I can muster. It's time for bed. Tomorrow is a big day. I'm going to see something or other at Stanley Park, and so I bought long underwear and gloves (serial killer style, Non-Traceable, DNA-free.)

Mitch out.

ps: Did you notice the song is called "I'm still alive", and you haven't heard from me in forever, which is like me saying "Hey, don't worry guys, I'm still alive." Double meaning there. Two birds with one stone, as they say. The heavy stone of my cleverness gathers no moss, dear reader.
