Welcome to the middle of September. Mother does time just fly by, eh? I'm telling you, it's like the Hadron Collider is just bending the very fabric of time just all around me. I'm taking a shower and towelling off with a scrunched up dirty towel made of ruined space time continuum. Or something.

I just got back from an epic and awesome weekend hiking Black Tusk. For your information, the Black Tusk is a sweet sharp ol' mountain peak that you can see from just about everywhere in South Western BC.

Anyway, we hiked up there, Annilou, Steph and I. This is our story:

Friday night is Ed's going away. I am rushing all day doing Friday stuff at work (mostly involving shopping for going-away presents for Ed.) After work I am drinking beer at the pub. We leave the pub. We go to Ed's house. We play some hella awesome rockband all night. Oh - hiking story interlude: During Rockband, we scored our highest score to date! Check out this score:

We rocked! Damn, that is some fine rockbanding.

That was me singing (99% on expert! I am like Mariah Carrey on coke! Or ... on more coke!), Tim on drums, Mitch Lee on bass and Arvi on guitar. We rocked the shiat out of that song. Now if I could just get my band to play on a harder difficulty...

Anyway, back to my story.
