Share on Facebook 2008-07-02: Mr. Pib isn't Luv [sic]!
Words I carry in my heart
"come to"
"glad of"
"uncommonly held"
"peculiarly interlaced"
"remembered and felt"
Am I lovesick?
It's as if love's the only virtue there is.
Am I love sick?
This is the new song I am listening to non-stop the last few days. It's a Tragically Hip song off their album "World Container", that I think is a bit less commonly known. Anyway, the song is hell of awesome, called "Luv [sic]". Genius. I love the Hip. All their discography is there for the listenin'. Love it. Love it. Luv (sic) it.
Here is a funny conversation that happened:
"Did you ever cross-pollinate Mr. Pib?"
"No... I never got around to it."
"I think we should. I think we need to pollinate him to get more lemons."
"Yeah. I wonder if that's why he only has one lemon? Maybe he just pollinated himself
by fluke."
"Maybe... Hey, maybe we should train the centipedes to pollinate Mr. Pib!"
"We could get some yellow paint and give them stripes like bees."
"Yes! Bee-pedes!"
"Centibees."
Centibees. I can't even stop laughing now, 5 days after the fact. Genius. I actually had a little pollination party for Mr. Pib though. I couldn't trust the centipede infestation to do it. Instead I hired some scantily clad yet trustworthy girls!

Lucky Mr. Pib the lemon tree! |
We've had some crazy nice weather the last few days here in Van-city. I didn't go away this weekend, but had a great weekend nonetheless. I managed to snap a couple highlights:
|
Gotta love Coal Harbour. A park all to myself, basically. |
Gettin' my drink on at the Mill! ps: this was far less good than it looked. Don't order the seafood pasta. |
The other day (was it Saturday? Sunday?) I hung out with Lilyann (hereinafter "LA") and Annilou (hereinafter "AL"), we had a whole day of bike riding, beaching, eating, etc.. It was great. I snapped these pictures of LA polishing off the dessert. Hilarious.

Excited about all those leftovers! |
She's about halfway done. Go tongue go! (I've heard that before.) |
I'm going to close with this note: Go see Wall-E! I loved it. Everyone did, but my opinion counts for more.
Mitch out, for now.

MDP, 2008-07-08, 11:05:30 You need to hear Peter's WALL-E and EVE impersonations...they're great. You'd swear he had Down Syndrome. |
