Share on Facebook 2008-04-13: Air Canada: Truly truly truly outraaageous!

I really don't want to do this. I have been staring at the internet for what feels like hours, not wanting to write this. I'm just honestly feeling like there's nothing to say.

I got slightly inspired by this: The Plug, issue 27. It is pretty funny. There must be other issues too (there are) but I haven't read them.

Here is something that I found very funny, much of it is funny because it seems like something we would have done in our Nintendo Power magazine inspired youths. Last Improved Wii Wheel Post, Honest. Comments are funny as usual.

I won't lie, I played this game for quite a long time today: Random Defense. I got like 39,000 points or so, by beating the "The Plains - Square Wave" level. I know, I know. I am not a cool person.

This, however, is super cool (stolen from Le Blog Moto):

Lion in a sidecar!
The wall of death needed something... more.

A couple links regarding the end of the world:
Invasion of the millipedes
Black holes will destroy us all, maybe (props Sparky)

This weekend in Vancouver was amazing. Insane. Perfect. The weather was super sunny, beautiful. I went running both days, a short 7 km and a relaxing 13 km around Stanley Park, it was all I could do to not stop and just lay on the beach. I drank beer with Ross on Sparky's patio (I need a west facing patio!) and it was spectacular. It pretty much made up for having to fly to Hamilton for work on Thursday!

I flew Thursday day (no more overnighters for me, to hell with another bout of the Shingters!) and arrived at 7 pm... hung out with Max n' Heather, including dinner at "Sushi on Bloor". Pretty good sushi, and had a good time visiting. Of course driving around the greater Toronto area was a gong show, and horrible. And the work was difficult, time consuming, and lame. Lame. But I think we got'er done.

Two things:
1) Flying in a plane with seat back video on demand is a necessity... but what happens when you've seen all the movies!?
2) They painted my plane's engines with glitter blue paint

I wouldn't have been the one to choose glitter blue, myself, but then again, I don't work for a low budget, shitty airline.

Here's some photos:

Art in Coal Harbour
I wanted to climb in it, but it was "art". No climbing allowed.

A canyon of buildings
Clouds in a canyon of buildings near my house.

Mitch gettin' some sun!
This kid was gettin' some sun this weekend.

Bee cookie.
Thinking of bees.

Our fearless leader.
She was in charge of our operation.

So much anger.
How can one man have so much anger?

He is a guy I know.
A man, a plan, a canal: Panama.

Ross drunk = nonsense.
I have never heard a person spout nonsense like this man, when drunk.

Glitter paint aircraft engines?
Glitter like Jem and the Holograms.

Glittery airplanes are cool
Truuuuly outrageous!

Empty intersection
I really loved how clean this empty intersection was.

Happy Monday. Mitch out.

Bee Cookies! Delicious!

And, - Bronwen, 2008-04-17, 02:56:17

Yeh. I agree. That intesection photo is cool. Whow. Intesections. We don't have traffic lights in Wanaka. It's been a year. I fly to Sydney this Saturday. Exciting! Intersections.. here I come!

Did you know that you are the NUMBER 1 Google entry for "Shingsters"? Many people aren't even number 1 for their own name. You're fkn lucky - despite being a skanky shingster.

Yes! - Mitch, 2008-04-17, 11:32:32

Bee cookie is the best type, and as for Shingsters, you're right, it's a small price to pay for being number 1.

pour plusieurs - Ross, 2008-04-21, 01:38:43

Pour plusieurs, deux roues, c'est encore une de trop": m'est avis que c'est une bonne définition de l'état d'esprit du pratiquant de stunt. :)

Haha - Jardine, 2008-04-25, 12:24:01

I love how in the picture of Ross, his wallet is just about to slip out of his pocket. His wallet just wants to get lost. Lost is home.
